Sibling Event
This week we held a sibling event for families – bringing together a group of around 25 brothers and sisters of pupils at Riverside School. It was an afternoon filled with connection, honesty and pride, giving siblings the space to meet others who share similar experiences and responsibilities.
Throughout the session, the room was full of heartfelt reflections. Some of the quotes that stayed with us were:
I am the best big brother.
My sibling is a blessing.
I am proud of how I support them.
Hearing siblings speak with such love, strength and maturity was humbling. We were genuinely proud of every young person who joined us. The sense of understanding and shared experience in the room was something truly special, and we are so excited about what more there is to come.
