Caterpillars Class

 

Every day in Caterpillars class is incredibly special and great fun, why? Because of the nine fantastic children who make up Caterpillars class. Meet Ronnie, Ryan, Millie, Feraz, Nic, Joel, Oliver, Tahmid and Dylan, the Reception class at Riverside Beckenham ASD centre.
 
Our days are filled with adventures like our early morning run, swimming, soft play and visits to lots of different places. In the midst of this we all work really hard at workstations, in small groups and as a whole class in circle time. Our topic this half term has been Traditional Stories and next half term we move onto Animals, the children will be really excited by this as they love anything and everything to do with animals, from little model animals and cuddly toy animals to stories, films and songs about animals.
 
Every day is filled with lots of laughter and we never forget the importance of stopping to play or have a cuddle.
 
We have all been so very proud of how well the children have settled in to their first half term at school and are really looking forward to the year ahead with them.
