Transition from Riverside to the next part of our pupils journey in life when they leave us in Year 14, is a key part of supporting families and pupils. We support our pupils and families to leave Riverside in a position where they feel fully prepared for the next stage and feeling equipped with the knowledge of what options are available. We understand this can be a daunting time families, but we are here to provide as much support as we can and to signpost to others.

We hold an annual transition event, which is open to all families of pupils in Years 9 to 14. The event provides information about the process into adult service, careers goals and aspirations, and possible options available once their young person leave us in Year 14.
